Nuka & Tenmoku 4 Cup Teapot

This hand thrown teapot is a domestic functional and decorative piece.
Created on the wheel using a white stoneware clay body.

Generous full bodied durable form with a stable turned foot-ring base to accommodate daily use of the piece. Strong over the top handle. Accommodates 4 standard teacup sized cups.

Glazed using a combination of pouring and dipping to achieve the finish.

This particular piece is glazed with a signature nuka and tenmoku glaze combination which is food safe. Stoneware fired in an electric kiln to 1280⁰C. Ovenproof, dishwasher and microwave safe.
