Nuka & Tenmoku Cafetiere & Two Mugs
This hand thrown cafetiere and mug set are domestic functional and decorative pieces.
Created on the wheel using a white stoneware clay body.
Generous durable form with stable smoothed base to accommodate daily use of the piece with a strong pulled handle. Thrown to precision to aid a smooth press of coffee granule.
Glazed using a combination of pouring and dipping to achieve the finish.
This particular piece is glazed with a signature nuka and tenmoku glaze combination which is food safe. Stoneware fired in electric kiln to 1280⁰C. Ovenproof, dishwasher and microwave safe.
