Porcelain & Gold Lustre Hanging Christmas Decorations

These Christmas Decorations are individually hand crafted from Porcelain. Each piece takes time and care to finesse and finish to an adequate weight appropriate for hanging on a tree. Once dried they are bisque fired to cone 06 - 1000⁰C. Next they are glazed in a signature clear glaze then glaze fired to cone 9 in oxidation in an electric kiln. At the next stage the designer/maker hand paints each piece with Gold Lustre a highly desirable finish. The pieces then go through their final third firing at 800⁰C to melt the lustre finish on to the glaze surface.

Each decoration has an addition of a satin red ribbon for hanging.

The decorations will be wrapped in tissue paper and the Claire Murdock Ceramics Signature gold logo sticker. For posting this will then be wrapped in bubble wrap and poster in a large letter postal box.
